HAIR
A book about female hairgrowth entirely made out of hair. The book contains haikus's and the concept has come from a desire to change the prevailing taboo regarding the female body hair. The book is set with cross stitches on embroidery fabric with synthetic hair that illustrate the hair left after shaving.
Marvelous Mane
Marvelous Mane is a magazine with the goal to make female hair growth visible and thus contribute to its normalization. The magazine is a symbol for the female liberation from the hairless norm and womens right to choose whether to shave or to be hairy. Part of my bachelor degree project.
